Iuri Costa
Iuri Danilo Eduardo da Costa (born 1 February 1984) is an Angolan businessperson. In 2007, he became in the youngest Director of the Sonangol Group, the oil-producing state-owned company of Angola. In 2003, he became the youngest Angolan to obtain a doctorate at the age of 19. ==Biography== He is an Angolan, son of António José da Costa Junior and Esperança Maria Eduardo da Costa, and grew up in Luanda. At the age of 11 he arrived to the United States of America in the company of his cousins to continue his studies. By his 13th birthday he had begun high school and completed it by the age of 15 at Cascadilla High School in Ithaca, a city in the state of New York. He concluded College at 15, by graduating in International Business Administration and Marketing at the New York Institute of Technology in 2003. After graduating, he returned to Angola and obtained a job in the Sonangol E.P., the Oil-producing state-owned company of Angola. He was assigned to participate in the TradeJango project, initiative of Sonangol to create the first electronic marketplace in Angola that unites buyers and suppliers in a digital forum with the objective of carry out commercial transactions, thus improving efficiency and increasing the opportunities of the local companies to obtain businesses in the oil industry. TradeJango began as a project in 2003 and its go-live was in 2005. It obtained several clients and is currently the platform of support to the purchases of the Sonangol E.P. and its Subsidiaries. The project became a company of the Sonangol Group in 2007, by the name Servite Lda., Integrated Services for Electronic Transactions. After three years of hard-work at Sonangol, he was nominated for the position of Director of Marketing and Sales, thus becoming the youngest Director in the Sonangol Group, at the age of 23 in 2007.〔http://jornaldeangola.sapo.ao/18/0/trajectoria_de_um_angolano_formado_nos_eua〕
